MY VACATION
Situated in nearness to the Aravali Range of Mountain, in Alwar City, Neemrana's Tijara Luxury Hotel was my family retreat spot for 2024. I came here for the first time and had alot of things and insights to think about, pen and discover.
The time-line of this hotel dates back to 2003. This was initially a spoilt, unfinished stone-covered landscape of infinite acres, unaccessible by road to people and locals. Taken over by Neemrana Group, it became a buzzing hotel by 2016.
The architecture is absolutely amazing. To a common man, it is very difficult to describe the majestic historical evolution and architectural perfection of this big hotel. It definitely makes it to the top hotels in India. The opneness and huge acres always makes it easy, light and soothing to relax and have a good time.
In a brief, I gauged from a table-side book and a very spectacular website that the fortress, set in an Rajput-Afghan style of art with early colonial influences: the Mardana for the royal men, the Rani Mahal for the maharanis and a pleasure palace on the edge of a plateau, overlooking a water body called the Hawa Mahal, is bliss.
In January of 2016, Tijara opened its doors to the world with its recently-terraced hanging gardens and some of its tall ramparts raised. The Rani Mahal consists of 22 suites and rooms named after India's leading lady painters who have honoured them with their work. The Mardana Mahal houses 56 rooms, Deewar Mahal & Top Mahal houses 8 rooms and Khajoor Mahal houses 15 rooms, that have been styled by leading male designers, artists, and aesthetes.
The symmetry, long walking gadens, outside terraces, balconies and amphitheatres are soo special.
The thread of a continued spark over it's years make its glory stay permanent.
The fun to look forward to, at such places for me lies in searching the good
brand of toiletry products and collecting them and enjoying
advantages of all the luxuries.
During my stay I don't set targets
for binging like eating food,using
my time and video making. I always
leave with a feeling of gratitude
and nostalgic holding on. Tijara Fort-Palace - 19th Century, Alwar.
